26.05 - dzień 1 | 05/26 - Day 1

Witam wszystkich :) Na tym blogu opiszę przygodę naszego życia... dwutygodniową wyprawę do USA, która rozpoczęła się 26 maja tego roku (2013) i zakończyła (niestety) 9 czerwca. Bilety lotnicze zostały kupione na expedia.com w kwietniu, dla mnie Warszawa - Las Vegas, Las Vegas - Berlin ($813 łącznie). Auto zabukowane również w kwietniu ($516) - Thrifty. Co do hoteli/moteli, zarezerwowaliśmy tylko hotel w Las Vegas na pierwszą noc za bagatela $30 :) Wskazówka - przez Expedię można znaleźć można znaleźć oferty noclegów w promocyjnych cenach, szczególnie jak bilet lotniczy był kupiony za pośrednictwem tego serwisu.

Hello Everyone :-) Here on this blog I'm gonna describe the adventure of our lives. A two-week-long trip that started on May 26th 2013, and ended on June 9th. Return flight tickets had been booked for me already in April via expedia.com, Warsaw - Las Vegas, Las Vegas - Berlin ($813 total). Rental car was also booked in April at a cost of $516 at Thrifty.com. When it comes to hotels/motels, we only booked the first night in Vegas for as little as $30 :-) Please note that you may get a decent bargain for accommodation on expedia.com when buying together with flight tickets. 

26.05. Przygoda zaczęła się więc w Warszawie;)
05/26 The adventure begins in Warsaw ;-)

Pierwszy raz leciałam tak długo i to takim samolotem.. wow!
That was my first such a loong flight and in that kind of a plane... Wow! 

Wrażenie zrobił na mnie widok Grenlandii.. Czyż nie jest niesamowity?
I was impressed by the view of the Greenland.. Isn't it amazing? 

Doleciałam do Las Vegas wg planu, ale musiałam poczekać na Wiktora jakieś 5h, bo niestety miał opóźnienie. Ale minęło szybko i wkrótce pojawił się w drzwiach :D
I made it to Las Vegas as per our plan but had to wait for Wiktor who was unfortunately delayed for about 5 hours. Nevertheless it passed quickly and soon he showed up at the arrival gate. :-D 

Była 2 w nocy, odebraliśmy zabukowane autko...
It was 2 am when we picked up the booked car... 

... i pojechaliśmy do hotelu, jadąc przez główną ulicę Las Vegas - The Strip. Pierwsze wrażenie - tyle neonów, kolorów, tyle ludzi... Pięknie :) Wrażenie zrobił też na nas pokój w hotelu (Plaza Hotel & Casino).
... and we took a ride to the hotel through the main street - The Strip. First impression - place filled with neons, colors, lots of people... It was beautiful :-) and so was our hotel room in the hotel (Plaza Hotel & Casino).

Tak więc po pierwszym dniu wrażeń i dłuugiej podróży w końcu byliśmy na miejscu i poszliśmy spać, a po paru godzinach snu ruszaliśmy w drogę... :)
There we were, after the first day of new experiences and a long travel we took a few hours of sleep before hitting the road :-)
