When we woke up, we saw such a view:
Jako że musieliśmy opuścić pokój i musieliśmy poczekać, by zameldować się w kolejnym hotelu, spakowaliśmy się i najpierw pojechaliśmy na śniadanko do Applebee. Czekaliśmy parę minut po wejściu do środka na kelnera, jednak nikt do nas nie przyszedł, więc usiedliśmy w sekcji, gdzie nikogo nie było jeszcze - ale ważne, że przez okno było widać Mustanga - i tym samym wszystkie nasze rzeczy były bezpieczne :P Może z tego powodu gdy już przyszła kelnerka to tak nie wiedziała czy jesteśmy klientami (bo sami usiedliśmy) no ale w końcu nas przesadziła i złożyliśmy zamówienie. Dania przyniósł nam jakby menadżer, co nas zdziwiło. Do tego przyszedł się upewnić, że wszystko smakuje :D Nie wydawało się nam, że to normalne, i pomyśleliśmy że chyba zostaliśmy wzięci za tajemniczych klientów :D Wiktor dostał deserek gratis z okazji urodzin (super :D ) i jak wychodziliśmy to drzwi nam otworzył menadżer. Hmmm :P
As we had to leave the room and wait to check in at another hotel, we first packed up and went to Applebee to eat breakfast. We waited near the entrance a few minutes for the waiter, but no one came to us, so we sat in a section where there was no one else - but it's important that through the window could see Mustang - and thus all of our things were safe :P Maybe for this reason the waitress (when she finally attended us) did not know whether we were customers (because we sat down ourselves), but she asked us to sit at other table and we placed the order. The plates were brought to us by someone looking as a manager, which surprised us. What is more, he even came back later to make sure that everything was tasty and if we needed anything else :D We did not think this is a common behavior, and we thought that perhaps we were taken for mystery shoppers: D Wiktor got a free dessert as a birthday gift (nice :D) and as we were leaving the door were opened by the manager, again. Hmmm :P
Zdecydowaliśmy się pojechać na Strip do Hard Rock Cafe po parę pamiątek. Było nieznośnie gorąco, normalnie rekord temperatury. Nie było szans jechać z otwartym dachem :)
We decided to got to the Strip and Hard Rock Cafe to get a few souvenirs. It was extremely hot, the highest temperature ever. It was impossible to drive without the roof :-)
Dobrze, że nie mieliśmy dużo do chodzenia, bo chyba mózgi by się nam usmażyły! (swoją drogą, przed zejściem w Kanion dużo ostrzegali przed przegrzaniem się mózgu, radzili coś na głowę i duuużo wody)
We were lucky that we did not have to walk a lot, because our brains would fry! (by the way, before going down the Canyon there was a lot of signs to protect your head and drink a lot of water)
Zdziwiliśmy się, gdy chcieliśmy przejść normalnie z ulicy do hotelu... Weszliśmy do takiego jakby zabudowanego miasteczka, klimatyzowanego, gdzie były też kasyna i restauracje. Ciekawe, w taki upał nie byłoby życia bez takich miejsc.
We were surprised when we wanted to walk normally from the street to the hotel. We entered something like a built-up town, air-conditioned, with casinos and restaurants. Interesting, with such a heat outside life would be almost impossible without such places.
Zbliżał się czas check-in'u, więc pojechaliśmy do hotelu. Royal Resort za $62.
It was almost the time of check-in, so we drove to the hotel. Royal Resort for $62.
Było koło 13, rozpakowaliśmy się i w końcu mogliśmy się zrelaksować na sam koniec wyprawy. Zeszliśmy na dół do hotelowego basenu i oddaliśmy się słodkiemu lenistwu i opalaniu. Później pochodziliśmy jeszcze po mieście, kupiliśmy trochę pamiątek, zjedliśmy i wypiliśmy, i znów trzeba było się pakować. Wcześnie rano musieliśmy jechać na lotnisko, wcześniej oddać Mustanga (jak pożycza się auto z lotniska to nie ma problemu z oddaniem, są autobusy które wożą te pare km na lotnisko za darmo, więc nie ma się czym stresować).
It was almost 1 pm, we unpacked and were finally ready for some proper chillout on the last day of our journey. We went downstairs to the swimming pool and enjoyed relaxing and sunbathing. Later on we took a walk to town, bought some more souvenirs, ate and drank something, and we had to pack again. We had to get up early in the morning to return Mustang (when you rent a car near the airport, there are special shuttle buses that later take you to the terminal, so there is no reason to worry).
Nasza podróż nieubłaganie dobiegała końca, choć mieliśmy wrażenie, że więcej nie mogliśmy zobaczyć, a czas wykorzystaliśmy maksymalnie.
Our journey was getting closer to its end and we could not help it, although we felt that we used the time properly and saw everything that was possible to be seen.
